Summary: Chinese authorities are offering generous rewards to anyone who provides information on security threats during the Olympic Games.

A report Friday by China 's state-run Xinhua news agency says individuals could receive as much as $73,000 for tips over the next several months, from July 10 to October 31.

My opinion: It is a effective measure to solve the Beijing Olympic security problems. The power of people is the strongest. One world one dream; every body should do something to safeguard the world peace.

I also think this endeavor will be affect the result of the security problem more or less. But I don't think it's enough. The Olympic games is the object of all people's attention in the world. And recently, there are many serious threats to such a big world-wide ceremony. I hope Chinese authorities will provide against various situations for emergency, and the Olympic games will be held peacefully.

I think China has a lot of problems about Beijin Olympic games, but nevertheless this is the big chance for China. If the Beijin Olympics ended in failure, all of media might criticize China government and their image will be going down. So, I believe that Olympic Security is really important. It's necessary. I hope Beijin Olympics is going to end in safe.
