Gender difference in spoken Japanese

(Read the complete article ... )

By Ryoko Seki (545)

Summary:
Japanese is not major language and also it's unusual language in the world. I found this article on Wikipedia. In Japanese culture, Japanese use difference Japanese words between men and women; in addition, we've used the way since we were child. But there are no differences when Japanese write an article or essay and other writing. Some scholar's think it's one of the gender languages because Japanese don't notice and think it's strange or not.

My Opinion:
I've never thought how my language is strange because I'm Japanese, so I think it's natural there are difference words between men and women; moreover I've never noticed why we use difference words between men and womed. When I was find this article I thought if foreign people learn Japanese how do they feel? In addition, I'd like to ask you about on your language or country , do you use the difference words between men and women?

After I read the article, I think that there are a lot of differences between some words. For instence, Boku sounds fine and "watashi" is fine too, although I must admit "boku" has a ring to it" sound " but other than that it's fine to me. I need your help my classmate Royoko to lean Japanese Language.

I'd never care about these phenomenon because I'm Japanese, too. On the other hand, some Japanese people say correct Japanese are broken by young people recently. I know the language is very conplicated, so we should correct our correct mother tongue.

Japanese have difference between man and woman. In addition, Japanese consist of Kanji, Hiragana, Katakana. So, I think it is difficult for people who learn Japanese as a second language to master Japanese.

I think it's different to use language between mem and women in Korea because men tend to use more tough words and slangs. However, I think it's just a difference not wrong. It's unavoidable to use another words between men and women. When we were a child, we were affected distinction between men and women unconsciously.

I think every languages have a different words between men and women. In same language this is more emphasized than another one. If men tolk between men use a lot of words that don't use when they tolk to women, and vice-versa: this is normal, in every languages, more or less!!!

I haven't noticed about japanese language between men and women. On the other hand, chinese, that I accustomed to using, is not difference between these two gender. Moreover, We possess our unique culture; thus, when we are taught in school, we keep these cultural elements unconsciously.
