Summary:
During the Olympic opening ceremony last Friday, a nine years old kid sang the song in the center of the stage. This performance touched everybody's heart. But at this week, there was a big news showed that Lin was not the singer. She was being dubbed. The singer was another seven-year-old girl, Yang. Yang did not show up because of her appearance, she is not as pretty as Lin. Her face is a little fat and her teeth are not beautiful. Finally, They decided to change Yang to Lin. The general music designer of the opening ceremony, Chen, he said the reason was for the national interest. Also the TV show interviewed Yang and asked her some questions about her feeling. Her answers were mature. She was satisfied that her voice could be heard by so many people. Lin and Yang are good friends, so they do not worry about this result.
My Opinion:
This was not a good decision for two little children. They only think about what are the best thing to them, but most time they do not think about their feeling. Maybe children are too young to understand these, but when they grow up they may feel angry about that. This event not only hurt these two little kids, but also damage China's image in the national. There are over thirteen hundred million people in China . It is not so difficult to find a singer has both pretty appearance and beautiful voice. This happened in Olympic game, they should be honest to everything. This is the most important thing they need to face.

I belive that was really not good decision for bouth of two kids. Also, they will never forget about this.The general music designer of the opening ceremony thinks about only themselve not about kids. They just wanted show how they did well. Olympic is for the people who have tarent, and show other people without cheeting. Anyway, I was really disappointed when I read the article.
I think both children are beautiful,but most of people hope it perfect in Olympic,so they choosed the best part of the child.It can show two children in Olympic,and I think they will thankful for Olympic to show their best things at the world.
I also think the decision was not good. Of course, it hurt two little girls, but it's not the only problem, I think. This was the Olympic opening ceremoney, it was the object of all the world's people's attention. I also think everybody who is involved in Olympic should be honest, not only athletes. This article said "Lin and Yang are good friends, so they do not worry about this result.", but I worry that this might be tension between them.
Two or Three years ago there is a Korean movie that title was '200 Pounds Beauty'. Story of this film is similar as this article. There is a woman whose weight is 200 pounds. She sings very well, but she can't show up in front of audience. Therefore, she always sing under the stage, and another slim and sexy woman lip-synched on the stage. One day, she decides to do plastic surgery, and did. (and after story....) This movie performed very well, and it means many people sympathized at this kind of story. Appearence is not the most important thing.
I can't understand why china did that. There are so many people in china and they can pick the best person. However, there was a similar case in Korea. I think, that's because many people like beautiful visual and they think visial is more important than someone's anility, sometimes.
Although china has certain reasons, china had to be honest to many people in the world.
China cheated almost all people in the world. Of course, China have been preparing for a long time for successful olympic. However, they made a mistake. This event will be remembered trick of Beijing olympic to many people of the world. This olympic has many problem, for example, unfair judgement, weather. Now, olympic remained about 10days. I expect to finish auccessfully although the start was not good.
